TTCL has successfully completed a PE315 single plugging operation, providing a safe and efficient solution for non-stop pipeline maintenance on a natural gas pipeline system.
During this project, TTCL applied its advanced PE pipeline hot tapping and line stopping technology to carry out the operation on a PE315 pipeline. The pipeline was designed for a pressure of 0.4 MPa, with an actual operating pressure of 0.3 MPa, and the transported medium was natural gas.
The successful completion of this project demonstrates TTCL’s professional capability in handling pressurized polyethylene (PE) gas pipelines while maintaining safe and reliable pipeline operation. Through precise engineering design and advanced plugging technology, the operation was completed without interrupting the existing gas supply, significantly reducing downtime and improving maintenance efficiency.
Compared with traditional pipeline maintenance methods that require shutdowns and gas supply interruptions, TTCL’s hot tapping and line stopping solutions enable operators to perform branch connections, pipeline modifications, and emergency repairs while keeping the pipeline system in service.
With extensive experience in pipeline maintenance technologies, TTCL provides comprehensive solutions for steel pipelines, PE pipelines, and various industrial pipeline systems. The successful PE315 single plugging operation further strengthens TTCL’s expertise in natural gas pipeline maintenance and non-stop operation technologies.
For more than 40 years, TTCL has been dedicated to the research, development, manufacturing, and application of hot tapping machines, line stopping equipment, PE pipeline tools, and pipeline repair solutions. TTCL continues to support global customers with safer, more efficient, and more reliable pipeline maintenance solutions.
