TTCL-Sinopec:Oil Pipeline Route Modification.
The operation was carried out on a DN426 pipeline made of L360 material, employing a technique involving eight hot-tapping and plugging actions—four suspended plugging and four cylinder plugging operations. The pipeline had a design pressure of 6.4 MPa, while the operating pressure of the medium inside was 3.5MPa.
After thorough preliminary preparations, the operation was performed using key equipment including the HT500 tapping machines, HT150 tapping machines, and TPP500 hydraulic power unit. The team systematically completed a series of procedures such as pressure welding, hot tapping, plugging, and installation of blanking plates, successfully accomplishing the task.
