DN80 Hot Tapping Project Successfully Completed by TTCL

Taitat Changlin Pipeline Technology (Jiangxi) Co., Ltd. (TTCL) has successfully completed an DN80 hot tapping project on a natural gas pipeline.

The pipeline was designed for a pressure of 1.6 MPa, with an operating pressure of 0.8 MPa. The pipeline medium was natural gas.

During the project, TTCL carried out the hot tapping operation under controlled operating conditions, enabling a new branch connection to be installed on the existing pipeline without interrupting the gas supply.

The successful completion of this hot tapping project demonstrates TTCL's capabilities in pipeline hot tapping and live-line intervention. By using hot tapping technology, pipeline operators can make new connections while keeping the existing pipeline in service, helping reduce operational interruptions and improve project efficiency.
