TTCL (Taitat Changlin Pipeline Technology Co., Ltd.) is proud to announce the successful completion of a PE160 hot tapping and double line stopping project on a live natural gas pipeline.
The project involved a PE160 polyethylene (PE) natural gas pipeline with a design pressure of 0.8 MPa and an operating pressure of 0.3 MPa. By utilizing TTCL's specialized hot tapping and double line stopping technology for PE pipelines, the entire operation was completed safely and efficiently without interrupting the gas supply.
As an essential technology for live pipeline maintenance, hot tapping enables branch connections, pipeline modifications, repairs, and maintenance while the pipeline remains in service. Combined with double line stopping, hot tapping allows maintenance work to be performed safely without shutting down the pipeline, minimizing service disruption and reducing operating costs.
During the project, TTCL's experienced engineering team successfully carried out the hot tapping, double line stopping, and subsequent pipeline work in strict accordance with technical specifications and safety procedures. The successful completion of this PE160 hot tapping project once again demonstrates TTCL's expertise in live intervention on polyethylene gas pipelines.
TTCL has accumulated extensive experience in hot tapping and line stopping for both steel and PE pipelines. Our solutions are widely used in natural gas distribution, water supply, district heating, and industrial pipeline systems, helping customers complete maintenance and expansion projects without service interruption.
The successful completion of this PE160 hot tapping project further demonstrates TTCL's commitment to providing safe, reliable, and efficient hot tapping solutions for the natural gas industry. Moving forward, TTCL will continue to deliver advanced hot tapping and line stopping technologies to pipeline operators worldwide, ensuring safer and more efficient pipeline maintenance.
