Successful Completion of PE315 Hot Tapping Project for TTCL Gas Pipeline

The PE315 hot tapping and branch connection project for TTCL  has been successfully completed, further strengthening the reliability and flexibility of the local natural gas distribution network.

The project involved a PE315 pipeline with a design pressure of 0.8 MPa and an operating pressure of 0.35 MPa, with natural gas as the transmission medium. By adopting advanced hot tapping technology, the project team successfully connected a DN200 branch line to the existing pipeline without interrupting gas supply, ensuring continuous operation throughout the construction process.

Through the implementation of the hot tapping process, the pipeline connection was carried out under live conditions, eliminating the need for shutdown or service disruption. This approach significantly improved construction efficiency while minimizing the impact on downstream users.

During the execution, strict adherence to safety standards and technical procedures was maintained. Considering the characteristics of natural gas, comprehensive safety measures and real-time monitoring were applied to ensure a fully controlled hot tapping operation.
