The wafer valve is designed for use with Taitat Changlin Tapping, Plugging Machines, and fittings during hot tapping and plugging (HT&P) operations. Wafer Valves have a flat faced, serrated gasket surface and are supplied to match ASME class 150, 300, or 600 flanges.
This completion machine is matched with a completion housing connection, and the spindle is connected to the matching plug to achieve completion operation.
The type B sleeve is composed of a pair of semi-circular steel protective plates covering the defect of the pipeline, which are welded together through longitudinal butt welds. The end of the sleeve is fixed to the pipeline by circumferential fillet welding.

It is welded onto the pipeline section that requires isolation, providing a fixed support for the installation of hot tapping and line stopping equipment. The fitting is equipped with an internal O-ring seal, and during the stopping process, it is secured in place by lock pins or locking blocks.
